This fall Lighthouse ArtSpace at Zona Rosa is hosting its latest Immersive exhibit.
Visitors schedule a time to attend with pre-purchased tickets. Upon arrival, you enter the immersive theater after viewing a display on the history of King Tut and his tomb.
Once inside the theater, visitors experience Immersive King Tut, a 30-minute production where spectators are in a room watching as projectors display a legendary tale about King Tut's life after death. In celebration of the 100-year-anniversary of the discovery of Pharaoh Tutankhamun's tomb, this story tells what ancient Egyptians may have believed in regard to the after-life and their famous leader. Graphics are displayed on all walls, ceiling, floor, and corners, literally surrounding guests with the projected imagery of an imagined ancient Egypt and the underworld. The mythology surrounding King Tut and his belief in the underworld is explored through a narrated visual presentation with professional graphics.
After experiencing the show, visitors may choose to watch it again or explore the gift shop and refreshment stand.
