Fun Farm Kearney
This locally owned farm is your go-to for strawberries in the spring, butterflies in the summer, apples, and pumpkin in the fall, Christmas fun in the winter, and fabulous family memories all the time!
This beautiful farm stands out in the crowd for its intentional layout welcoming guests of all ages to experience agritourism at its finest. We loved the creativity of the Christopher family in developing a unique attraction the entire family can enjoy. The property is beautifully cared for, the buildings are all adorable fitting the red barn farm theme, and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. The wide variety of creative things to do is outstanding. We spent half a day and my girls would have gladly stayed longer.
Moms will LOVE the clean, beautiful, farm. Kids LOVE the animals and all the amazing places to play. The whole family will LOVE the memories they make at the farm!

Enjoy Fun Farm throughout the year:
This year, the patch introduced a season pass so you can save on admission and visit all of their events throughout the year (as many times as you like)!
- Sunflowers & Mums: Enjoy sunflowers and purchase mums from the Fun Farm greenhouse in the fall.
- Pumpkin Season: Enjoy the Pumpkin Patch Sept. 11 - Nov. 1, 2021. This fall, we are most excited about the BRAND NEW 24-gauge steam train taking passengers on a 2-mile ride around their 12-acre pond, through the woods, and through a tunnel. The train is a retired amusement park train from Magic Mountain in California, soon to be at home in Missouri, and we can't wait! Additional attractions are also open in the fall including hayrides, barrel trains, the carousel, a corn crib, pig races, firepits you may rent, and much more!
- Winter Funderland: Thurs-Sat Nov. 25 - Dec. 28, enjoy train rides, visits with Santa, holiday decor, a hot cocoa bar, and more!

Animals:
Fun Farm is home to many wonderful animals and we loved meeting them in person! The farm is home to miniature horses and donkeys which visitors may pet and feed on their visit. We also saw chickens, an observation beehive, turkeys, hogs, goats, and sheep.
The farm is home to a variety of beautiful and friendly goats including Nigerian Dwarf goats. Many of the goats have names the children loved including Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell, Sugar, and Spice. My girls especially loved the twin goats!
Among the sheep at the farm, we met some new little black lambs.
Hogs aren't the friendliest of farm animals, but they do hope to have baby piglets in the future.
The turkeys enjoyed strutting their stuff, showing off for the kids.
Fun Places to Play:
Fun Farm offers many wonderful places to play, but the hands-down favorite was this phenomenal Tree House Adventure Playground (called Keebler Village by some guests). With six "small" unique treehouses and the centerpiece three-story treehouse, the girls LOVED exploring this forest village. With slides, tunnels, hideaways, and delightful houses, children will easily spend as much time as they are allowed in this play space. In addition to this play space, they also offered a tire swing and swing sets for younger ones. This fall, you'll be able to try out a brand new low-ropes obstacle course.

Fun Farm also offers a "Farm Style Arcade" with skeeball, Yardzee, cornhole, toss games, apple cannons, roller bowler, and other great games that children AND adults can enjoy. We loved that they truly offered something for everyone.
Just past the "farm arcade" the girls tried out the giant hill slide. This is the tallest hill slide we've experienced at a local farm and by far the favorite.
The Fun Farm offers jumping pillows that everyone can enjoy. Unlimited access to the jumping pillows is included with admission. During the busy season, they do separate the jumpers with littler ones on one pillow and taller ones on the other to keep everyone safe.
The large trike track is a hit with children, taking them on a trail through the woods. Just past the trike track, they have a stage where local bands perform during the busy season. Additionally, they have a gem mining station you may enjoy for an additional fee.
Delicious Food:
The food at Fun Farm was DELICIOUS! So delicious, in fact, that my girls almost finished it off before we snapped a picture! Their menu changes throughout the season, with fall favorites including turkey legs, funnel cakes, apple cider slushes, and kettle corn. In the fall, they also offer beer, wine, and wine slushes for grown-ups.
