Fall Fun at Red Barn Ranch
2022 Edition

Red Barn Ranch in Harrisonville is a wonderful agritourism attraction offering family-friendly farm fun for all ages!
Matt Moreland, the owner, is a fourth-generation farmer with a passion for agriculture and teaching the community about farming. You'll see his love for farming woven throughout the creative designs and attractions at Red Barn Ranch.
There are many features that make Red Barn Ranch a truly unique experience, but one of the most notable is that all of the attractions were custom created by Matt using 100% repurposed farm equipment. As children play on the slides and swings, they are curious about the materials used to make them and often ask questions - questions that lead to learning. The swing set was built using a center pivot irrigator, there are many tractors on the property for kids to explore, the corn crib was built with slides from old cattle troughs, and one of the biggest slides is built on the side of a silo... each of these fun play features opens up curiosity which leads to education.
One of Matt's dreams, when he created Red Barn Ranch, was that visitors would feel nostalgic and experience what they imagined grandpa's farm to be like - even if they never saw their family farms firsthand.

Super Cool Play Areas:
The play areas, slides, and corn crib are all built using REAL farm equipment! Kids slide down a cow feeding trough into the corn pit, and the swingset and slides are made using farm equipment - everything is custom built by Matt Moreland specifically for Red Barn Ranch. You won't find anything like this anywhere else - it's all truly one-of-a-kind and farm-inspired! The kids loved painting pumpkins, launching corn at a target, playing in the corn crib, many farm slides, and the GIANT swingset!
