As we Ring in 2012, it's fun to look back on the past and document the present. I recently discovered an idea on pinterest, and decided that New Year's Day was the perfect time to begin! This was such a simple idea that doesn't take a lot of time. So, my New Year's Resolution? Document my children every year as the New Year begins.
A mom took a photo of her child, and used the space next to the child in the image to document who her child was at the time. (See Sample here):
Using this idea as inspiration, I asked my girls to share their favorite things with me and I also asked what they wanted to be when they grew up, then I created our lists. The lists included favorite foods, toys, characters, ways to spend time, memories, vacations, and favorite mommy & daddy dates. I was even surprised by some of the answers.... a few of the highlights were:

Today, I plan to finish editing the images and send them to grandparents and family to enjoy. How do you capture memories in easy and practical ways?
