These little bow ties will look so dapper on your little guy. You even can make them in pink and attach the bows to a headband for a girl. They are so versatile and take just a few minutes to make. The best part about this project is that no sewing is involved!
Materials Needed:
- Fabric
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Bobby pins or Velcro
Step One: Cut the fabric into a rectangle that measure about 8” X 4.5”. Cut another small strip of fabric, about a half-inch in width.
Step Two: Fold the long edges of the rectangle in towards the center, overlapping them.
Step Three: Next, fold the outside edges in towards the middle, overlapping them.
Step Four: Pinch the center of the fabric to form a bow tie shape and tightly wrap the small strip of fabric around the center. Attach it in the back with some hot glue.
Step Five: You can glue either a bobby pin or piece of Velcro to the back of the bow tie. Sew another piece of Velcro to a shirt or onesie for an easy way to attach the bow tie. Or, you can glue on a bobby pin and the bow tie easily can be clipped onto a button-up shirt or headband.
