About one million strollers are being recalled because the stroller’s hinge poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller. Little Tykes Toy Workshop Sets
About 1.6 million sets have been recalled because of oversized plastic toy nails that can pose a choking hazard to young children. The sets were sold at mass retailers and at www.LittleTykes.com from March 1994 through June 2009. Remove the toy nails from the play set and contact Little Tykes at 800.791.2737 for a replacement nail.
Children’s and Infants’ Tylenol
McNeil Consumer Healthcare (the makers of Tylenol®) is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Children's and Infants' Tylenol® liquid products that were manufactured between April 2008 and June 2008. The company is implementing this recall because during this period, an unused portion of one inactive ingredient did not meet all quality standards. Pottery Barn Kids Roman Shades
The shades are being recalled due to a strangulation risk that can occur when a child places his/her neck between the exposed inner cord and the fabric on the backside of the blind or when a child pulls the cord out and wraps it around his/her neck. Weight Watchers Plush Hungry Figures and Magnets
The plush figures and magnets are being recalled because sewing needles have been found in the stuffing of the Hungry Figures, posing a puncture hazard to consumers. Sold exclusively through Weight Watchers from April 2009 through July 2009 for between $4 and $7. Stop using immediately and return to Weight Watchers for a refund or credit.
Children’s Art Easels
The Young Artist Easels are being recalled due to the chalkboard surface coating which contains high levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. Flashlights
About 640,000 Halloween themed flashlights sold exclusively at Target from August 2009 through September 2009 are being recalled due to the flashlights overheating and melting, posing a burn hazard to consumers. Stop using the flashlights and return to Target for a full refund.
Air Bouncer Chairs
BabyBjörn has recalled the Babysitter Balance and Babysitter Balance Air bouncers because small, sharp metal objects found in the padded area of the bouncer chair can protrude, posing a laceration hazard to children.
