One of Blue Springs' oldest parks recently received renovations through the 1/2-cent Park Sales Tax that voters approved in 2017. In total the park is comprised of 14 acres and also houses the city's first splash pad. Click here for more details about the SPLASH PAD. This park is free to the public. The park hours are 6 a.m. to midnight. The splash pad water runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This park is located on the site where the City of Blue Springs was founded and the spring located just south of the park across Walnut Street is the one for which the city was named.
