The library is located on the south side of Minnesota Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets, next to the Huron Cemetery in downtown Kansas City, Kansas. Off-street parking is available behind the library off of Ann Avenue. 

This facility includes handicap parking. Automatic door openers are in place to help with access into the Main Library. The building comes equipped with an elevator for access to the second floor. The second floor includes restrooms. The first floor includes adult fiction, non-fiction, reference and a computer lab. The second floor includes a children's section and movie and music materials section. A handicap restroom also is available.
