Lexington Lake Park, located west of De Soto and north of Kansas 10 Highway, is a 465-acre park featuring a 27-acre lake. A few of the park’s unique natural features are a virgin prairie with 120 prairie plant species, including the federally-threatened Mead’s milkweed, oak and hickory forest, and tallgrass prairie.
