Founded in 1974 with 49 students, using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum. Today, Maranatha offers grades PS – 12 in traditional classroom settings serving close to 550 students from over 100 local churches. Over 80 experienced, dedicated faculty and staff members provide training and support services for effective, efficient operation of the school. Academic instruction ranges from meaningful preschool learning experiences to rewarding college credit courses.
Mark Schultze is the Superintendent of MCA. Mark Schultze began his tenure as Superintendent for the 2012-13 school year. Mark has been heavily involved in MCA for years as a parent, basketball coach and school board member and president. Many of the dedicated faculty have admirable longevity in Christian school ministry.
Maranatha enjoys broad recognition and acknowledgement as a school of excellence through its accreditation by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and AdvancED, the regional accrediting agency for schools and colleges.
