The Olathe Downtown Library is currently in a temporary space, with a new library opening in early 2023. The new Downtown Library will be a a multi-story building with 46,600 square feet. In addition to the library, the building will house the Olathe Chamber of Commerce. Library features will include a café, a large multi-use room, a creative space, numerous meeting and study rooms, a local history area and core library services. In addition, the library will reach beyond the walls with several inviting outdoor spaces such as a park, story steps, an amphitheater and an outdoor terrace.
