This next place has a whole new take on the phrase “battle axe.” Blade and Timber gives you an opportunity to try your aim with axe throwing! Here’s how it works: Visit the company’s dot-com address, book your appointment at their Kansas City West Bottoms location, speak to one of the associates (they usually give you tips and instructions at this point) and have at it! Axe throwing at Blade and Timber is a great way to release a little stress and tension and keep you on your toes.

This fan favorite is vegan-friendly and will leave your sweet tooth satisfied! Mud Pie vegan bakery and coffee shop is attracting a lot of attention, perhaps because they have cookies as big as your face! In what world is this NOT okay? But you won’t be dipping your cookies into regular 2% here. This establishment’s options include soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk and the list goes on. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely give this place a try!
