MCPL (Mid-Continent Public Library) is now offering a variety of FREE online classes to help you learn more about your interests, whether it’s college preparation or help working out your dream job.
You are permitted to three six-week classes per year, and there is no age limit. Just a few examples of what classes you can take include: “Screenwriting, College Readiness, Veterinary, Photography, Start Your Own Business, Publishing, Computer Programming, Law and Legal, and Languages”. In addition to free online learning, Mid-Continent Public Library is now offering a wide selection of free downloadable music! There are a couple million songs you have access to and you are allowed to check out up to three songs a week.
Do you need help with a difficult subject in school? MCPL also has a free tutorial system of “Live Homework Help”. This system offers tutors that can help you with science, English, mathematics, history, and writing. It’s available at your local library and goes all the way from kindergarten to 12th grade. Live Homework Help also has tutorials on “Introduction to College”.
Aside from thousands of books, MCPL’s amazing opportunities make its libraries a fabulous place to be.
