It's grade card time again! While a report card’s prime positioning on the front of the refrigerator is always exciting for your child – something in return for those good grades is always better! Of course, Mom and Dad are proud, but I highly doubt that the mailman will want to see their child's report card. Here are some places that actually DO want to see those As and Bs and they will give your child a reward to boot!
Blockbuster Video: When your child’s report card shows a “B” average (or better), you can get a free video rental (non-new releases in DVD format) within 30 days of issuance. The report card must be signed by a parent or guardian. The child must be in Kindergarten through 12th Grade. You can head here for more details and information.
Krispy Kreme Donuts: Bring in your child’s report card and for each “A” that he or she has – they will be rewarded one donut! So five “A’s” = five donuts!
Chuck E. Cheese: At the end of the grading period, bring in your report card and your child can get 15 tokens for free with the purchase of a meal. Bring on the games! More details can be found here.
Interstate Bakeries Outlets: When your child’s report card has all “A’s” or “B’s” or a combination of both, print out the Student Achievement Award from here and have it signed by your child’s teacher. Then, take it with you to local Dolly Madison/Hostess/Wonder Outlet Store and they can receive a free sweet treat (and mom and dad get a free loaf of bread)!
Coach’s Corner Sport Shop (Belton, MO): Stop on in and show your child’s report card in exchange for free baseball cards. Your child will get to spin the Wheel of Fortune if he or she has an “A” – for a chance for another free card!
Baskin Robbins: Some locations will give your student a free scoop of ice cream for good grades on his or her report card.
McDonald's: You might be lucky enough to find a participating store that gives a free Happy Meal when a report card reflects nothing but A's on it.
So now you've got even more reasons to be proud of those good grades!
