Hello,
As I do every year, I will be giving you, my faithful followers, the annual run down about NaNoWriMo.
“What does NaNoWriMo even mean?”
Well, the word ‘NaNoWriMo’ is a kind of acronym, only instead of only 1 letter it uses 2-3.
Na- National
No- Novel
Wri- Writing
Mo- Month
“Ok, what is NaNoWriMo?”
It is a free project in November, where a participant would try to complete a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Though, The Office Of Letters And Light, (creators of the program) have also made another program for minors: NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program (that is also free). I have taken part in and won YWP for 2 years. YWP is for ages 0 up to 17 years, and has the option of making any goal for yourself. Be it 1,000 or 50,000 words, you can make up your own goal that fits in your schedule.
I would recommend this to any, and every teen/kid.
But don’t take it from me, I’m sure I’ve missed something, visit: http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/what-is-nanowrimo today to learn how to sign up, and tons of other stuff I didn’t even mention
