It was a typical afternoon in the Sarver home, around 4:00. I was lying on the sofa, trying to rest for a few minutes. The girls were playing upstairs. All of a sudden, Tori comes bounding down the stairs saying, "Mom, Mom, you've got to see what Ally just did!" Ally was right on Tori's heels shouting, "No! No! Don't show her!" Of course, my interest was piqued. Turns out what Tori had to show me was a video she had taken of Ally, trying to blackmail Tori.
The story goes like this: Tori received a new game for her DS. Ally wanted to play the game. Tori said no. So Ally told Tori (and I quote), "We can do this the easy way or the hard way, Tori. The easy way is you let me play the game. The hard way is I go to mom, crying and telling her that you did something mean and then she'll let me play the game." Tori, realizing she had cinematic gold on her hands, asked Ally to repeat what she had said. Unbeknownst to Ally, Tori started taking a video as Ally repeated what she had said. You may be wondering why Tori had a video camera at her disposal. It is the dream of both Tori and Ally to appear on "America's Funniest Home Videos" and they spend a lot of time taping videos for the show. Seems that having the camera also comes in handy when you are being blackmailed by your younger sister.
