Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? There are two great FREE family-friendly events that you won't want to miss!
Saturday head down to the Power and Light District for the first Sprint Family Fun Series. It runs from 11:00-3:00 and this month’s theme is Young Audiences Art Festival. See Mr. Stinky Feet perform, watch a Paul Mesner puppet show, enjoy music from the Wiz presented by The Coterie, see a performance by the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival and so much more! We love the Power and Light District and are really looking forward to this FUN and FREE event! Be sure to say “Hi” if you spot the Sarver Family-I love connecting with our readers! Hot Tip: There are several parking lots that only cost $2.00 to park in. Visit the Power and Light website for a map of the $2.00 lots.
On Sunday make your way to Paradise Park in Lee's Summit. They have teamed up with Khol’s and Children's Mercy to provide an afternoon of free unlimited attractions from Noon-5:00. See the new Maze, play mini-golf, ride the go-karts, visit the Edutainment Center, climb the rock wall, all for FREE! You won't want to miss this day of great fun for the entire family. I hope to see you there as well!
