If you live for Sunday morning to flip through the newspaper to look over the ads and to see which coupons you received, you might have been a little disappionted lately. The coupons -- are low in value. The ads -- are nonexistent. Why? Will this change?
It is just the summertime lull. So many people are on vacation right now, away from home and not focused on shopping, so there is not any reason to spend money on ads and coupons that will often times, will end up in the recycling bin.
The ads are just now, slowly starting to come back. We will soon see better coupons (and more of them) in the newspaper. Back to school is gearing up so retailers know you will be getting ready to start your shopping again. But, what do you do in the meantime?
I personally enjoy the break. I kind of enjoy having a few less coupons to clip and file. It is great to not worry that I am missing out on a super deal if my family and I decide to get away for a few days.
So, relish this new found "free time" on your hands. Before you know it you'll be up to your eyeballs again in coupons and deals!
