Mother’s Day Tea May 1, 1:30 PM, Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm. Mothers and daughters are invited to our afternoon tea at the Heritage Center. Learn about 19th century tea customs and 19th century beauty treatments, plus enjoy tea, treats, and entertainment. All mothers and daughters will receive a flower, plus admission to the Heritage Center and a stagecoach ride. Please dress in your Sunday best to enjoy this great afternoon of mothers and daughters. Mothers Matter Walk May 7, 9:00 AM, Heritage Park. Walk with the Pregnancy and Postpartum Resource Center to support families who have been impacted by postpartum depression. Walkers can register by themselves, or as a team. This is a fun family event, with many entertaining activities for children, and also special treatment for mothers, as we let them know that Mothers Matter! The Pregnancy and Postpartum Resource Center exists in order to provide information, education, support and assistance to women suffering from postpartum depression, and to their families.
