Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm offers a hands-on glimpse into 1860s frontier life, including farming,
blacksmithing, and stagecoach travel. It is the last remaining public stagecoach stop on the historic Santa Fe Trail, preserving the significant history of the Mahaffie family. Visitors can tour the historic home, farm, and blacksmith shop, immersing themselves in pioneer life.

Daily activities, special programs and events, and admission fees vary seasonally. Take a ride in a reproduction “Concord” style of coach or the original “mudwagon” style of stagecoach. Living history programing is offered Saturdays in April, May, September, and October and daily on Wednesday thru Saturday, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. See horses, sheep, chickens, and other era and breed-appropriate livestock live on the farm today just as they did in the 1860s and 1870s.
