Located inside historic Union Station Kansas City, Science City at Union Station remains one of Kansas City’s favorite spots for interactive family learning, offering more than 300 exhibits spread across 92,000 square feet. The space invites visitors to explore concepts in physics, biology, engineering, and space through hands-on discovery and imaginative play.
Children can pedal across the well-known Sky Bike suspended above the exhibit floor, create and test ideas in the Maker Studio, investigate water and energy stations, and catch live science demonstrations throughout the day. With rotating exhibits and immersive activities for a wide range of ages, Science City continues to make science feel engaging, approachable, and fun for families.
