Shawnee Town 1929

Step back into the 1920s and experience life in Shawnee, a truck-farming town located just 10 miles from
downtown Kansas City! Visitors of all ages can explore interactive historic Main Street businesses and an
original truck farm. This living history museum gives visitors a hands-on look at life during this pivotal
era.

The Shawnee Town 1929 Museum is open seasonally, March - October, open 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM Tuesday - Saturday.

Guided tours start on the hour and last approximately 45 minutes, with the final tour departing at 3 pm. Prefer to explore at your own pace? Self-guided visits are welcome anytime during museum hours.
