Chiefs Game Day in Kansas City
Nothing like Game Day in Kansas City!
Like many of you, as a lifelong Kansas City fan, I’ve spent countless Sundays cheering for the Chiefs. Last year, my husband and I even braved the negative temperatures to watch the playoff game against the Miami Dolphins—a true test of our devotion to the team. For Kansas Citians, the Chiefs are more than just a sports franchise; they’re part of our identity and the heartbeat of our city.
At KC Parent, we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary this year, and our connection to Kansas City runs deep. Our Associate Publisher, Darrell Dean, fondly recalls riding his bike to Arrowhead Stadium’s construction site as a child. Later, he endured the dark years as a season ticket holder when Super Bowl appearances seemed like a distant dream.
Today, as we revel in the Chiefs' success, we’re thrilled to share these fun ways to celebrate their Super Bowl appearance with your family.
Here's a list of ways to show your Chiefs pride and enjoy the excitement leading up to the big game. This list is crafted by the KC Parent team, drawing on our deep local expertise, personal experiences, and connections with Kansas City families.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to Chiefs Kingdom, these activities are sure to amplify your Super Bowl excitement.
