The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is Celebrating Chinese New Year with Family Activities Set for Jan. 28 and 29, 2011!
The tremendously popular Chinese New Year celebration at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art has been scheduled for Jan. 28 and 29. Family-friendly activities on Friday night include special performances by musicians and dancers along with gallery games, art demonstrations and delicious Asian-inspired food.

Shaolin Lohan Pai Lion Dance Troupe
6 p.m., repeated 7:30 p.m.
Kirkwood Hall
One of the top 10 Lion Dance teams in the country performs with two lions and a professional percussion team.
Chinese Shadow Theater

Sculpture Hall
