Fill the Fridge, Fill the Fridge. Fill the Fridge. That’s what we are chanting at 41 Action News these days and we need your help. 41 Action News is holding the first ever perishable food drive. We are partnering with Harvesters for a project called “Fill the Fridge”. We are collecting foods that don’t last long. You know perishable foods, foods that spoil. Things such as; milk, cheese, vegetables, fruits or meat. This is where you come in. We need your donations.
How can you help?
September 3rd through September 7th, Harvesters, 41 Action News & 99.7 the point will park a refrigerated struck outside a different Price Chopper store from 5am to 7pm, Harvesters will accept donations of perishable foods such as dairy items (milk, cheese, yogurt), meats (non frozen meats and deli) and produce (fresh fruits and vegetables of all kinds).
