Liberty, MO, is home to Carolyn’s Country Cousins, one of the largest pumpkin patches in the region. Shoal Creek Living History Museum features 20 structures, including clapboard houses, a school, antebellum brick mansion home, a church and log cabins. Covering more than 80 acres of beautiful rolling hills, the site brings 19th-century Missouri to life through special events, programs, tours and reenactments. Winter sports are beloved in Kansas City. You can take a spin on the ice at one of the local rinks, including Line Creek Ice Rink and Linden Square Ice Rink in Gladstone. In November, families compete in turkey bowling on the ice at Line Creek Arena.
