Rachel Chrisman: The K, nothing like the spirit of a Royals baseball game.
Julia Willhite: Boulevard tour after they open their expansion!
Dana Boman: Tour the Nelson-Atkins before dinner on the Plaza, catch a Royals game on fireworks Friday, head to Crossroads for first Friday, go out to the Legends area….Pack a picnic/cooler and head to Schlitterbahn for the day, then clean up and roam Legends for dinner at T-Rex and some Cold Stone for dessert....or catch the T-Bones! Book some time ahead at Legoland, roam over to Union Station for Science City and trains, then have a nice dinner at Crown Center.
Megan Swalwell Hewitt: We love going to Crown Center and walking over the Link to Union Station. The model trains at Union Station are a big hit.
Helen Saga: The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures is on our bucket list. They tell the history of growing up.
Kim Slater: The Kansas City Zoo, KC Northern Railroad (kids love to show off the miniature railroad), Kauffman Stadium, Cabela’s and picnic at Smithville Lake.
Megan Miller Day: Downtown Lee's Summit shopping and a stop at the W.
Elena Maria Pacheco: Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead. All of my family love it!
Andrea Chapman: Paddle boats/canoeing at Shawnee Mission Park!
Hannah Janell Banerjee: City Market for sure, the grounds of the Nelson-Atkins Museum and National WWI Museum.
Brandy Romero: Our must-sees: The K for a Royals game, the zoo, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead and some barbecue (usually Z-mans for everyone at Joe’s KC).
Shannon Dorsey: River Market, first Fridays entertainment and shopping, the K, Joe's Kansas City Barbecue.
Katie Casey: Crown Center, the Plaza, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, Scheel’s for one dollar Ferris wheel rides.
Stephenie Menefee-Hudson: We love taking visitors to City Market.
Jennifer Mills: Steamboat Arabia Museum. It is great for all ages.
Jim Shrader: Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue in Martin City! Crown prime is memorable.

Ruthie Baumann Vega: We love Crown Center.
Kristina Light: Celebration at Kansas City’s Union Station would be a must! We're also excited to try the new zip line at Swope Park and visit the koalas at the Kansas City Zoo!
Julia Willhite: Ride the new streetcar!
Margaret Sarver: We have so many great locations for outdoor concerts, from large-scale shows at Starlight to smaller venues like Crossroads. We love to see live music outdoors during the summer.
Sara Reser Keenan: Our summer must-do's: A baseball game at the K, Celebration at the Station on Memorial Day weekend, the Airline Museum at the Downtown Airport (it's air-conditioned!), aerial tram at the zoo, Starlight, a day at Crown Center (Sea Life, Kaleidoscope, lunch at Fritz's)...just a few of the things we do every summer!
Kaleigh McAvoy: Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, the Kansas City Zoo, and Union Station is a lot of fun. Definitely a Royals baseball game and tailgating, outdoor concerts at Cricket Wireless are so much fun, Starlight Theatre plays, fishing at Wyandotte County Lake—they also have a kid pond that is overstocked so guaranteed to catch a fish! Swimming at Shawnee Mission Park’s "beach," Legoland, Sea Life Aquarium, and we always enjoy walking around Crown Center.
Katie Hubbard: Kansas City Zoo if cool, a show at Starlight, Sea Life, a game at the K if no peanut allergies, if not too hot Planet Snoopy at Worlds of Fun, Science City. Those are some of our favorites.
Elizabeth Hall: Breakout Kansas City.
Sarah Marie Diddle: Burr Oak Woods and the different libraries in town! Raina Virginia Lupton: River Market.
