Kansas Speedway
A Teen's View of the Races
Here is a view of the Grandstand Area from the FanWalk area. It was a beautiful day at Kansas Speedway.
A local teen visits Kansas Speedway for the first time! These are some of her favorite moments:
Here I am in the Pedestrian tunnel that leads to the infield area. The tunnel is one of my favorite places at Kansas Speedway. It leads into the fan walk and garage area The tunnel is located in turn one and allow users to walk underneath the speedway. The lights inside the tunnel are really neat and it is really cool that you can walk under the track as the cars are racing above you.
This is me on turn one going into the tunnel under the speedway. It was a beautiful day, but a little chilly. We enjoyed watching the Cup cars practice on Saturday morning prior to the Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300. Matt Kenseth won the Nationwide race on Saturday. It was a great race that featured some late race drama.
Here I am at Gatorade Victory Lane, Matt Kenseth also visited Victory Lane after winning the Kansas Lottery 300. Guests at Kansas Speedway can also purchase Fan Walk passes. The Kansas Speedway Fanwalk was the first of its kind and allow guests to watch the cars go through inspection, visit victory lane prior to the race and provide an excellent view of the garage area. It is truly an experience not to be missed and certainly worth the cost.
