NEW Planet Snoopy at Worlds of Fun
Last week we attended the opening of the new Planet Snoopy at Worlds of Fun. Formerly known as Camp Snoopy the new Planet Snoopy boasts 18 rides (7 new), a bounce house, a foam factory and lots of fun character visits.
The kids in our group ranged from age 5 through 13. The five through 10-year-olds loved to the new Planet Snoopy while he older kids explored the rest of the park. We spent three hours in planet Snoopy and could have easily spent more time there. One great thing about the rides in Planet Snoopy is that both kids and adults can ride. A great way for you and your child can enjoy a fun day together. However, I must warn you- if you don't enjoy spinning around in circles it's best to avoid the Flying Ace Balloon Race! Be sure to check out the Peanuts 500. It may look like a slow car ride but if you watch closely you'll see that a surprise waits at every turn. I think this was the favorite among the group. Another big hit was the foam factory. The kids spent a good hour shooting foam balls in all directions (mainly in the direction of where the parents were standing). My younger, Ally, was thrilled to see that the Wacky Worm ride is still there. She's going to be the thrill seeker in the family J
This summer, Worlds of Fun is offering a great deal. Single day junior/senior tickets are only $9.99-a great deal for a day full of fun!
Note that the rides have height restrictions (some of our party was too short to ride on some of the rides and the older girls were too tall for the bounce house).
