Ceramic Café – Parties

Ceramic Cafe is the perfect place to host your next group event. We have a semi private party room that seats up to 30 people. Groups can also reserve the entire studio for larger events. Birthday parties, family gatherings, scout meetings, bridal showers, corporate team building or office parties, sports team celebrations, daycare field trips – any group looking for some creative fun is welcome! Just call 913-383-0222 to schedule your event. A deposit of $25 holds your reservation for the party room. No deposit required to reserve a table in the front of the studio.

Birthday parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday at Ceramic Cafe. All parties are scheduled for one-and-a-half hours, giving you time to paint, open presents and serve cake and ice cream. We have three different packages for kids parties.

Birthday party pricing is for kids and their guests 18 or younger. Party packages require a minimum of 12 painters on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekday gatherings require at least 10 painters for party pricing.

Party Animals: $17.25 per child. Pottery choices include a plate, mug, bowl, small piggy banks, trinket boxes, lots of fun “party animals” and many other items priced at $20 or less. This is our most popular package!

Pottery choices $20 or over receive a 10% discount.

6×6 Tile: $10 per child. Each child paints a 6 x 6 tile This package is great for larger parties or younger children.

Grown-up gatherings

Be creative and enjoy socializing with your friends and/or coworkers while painting pottery. Ceramic Cafe is the perfect place for your next bridal shower or bachelorette party, ladies night out, corporate team building event or adult birthday celebration. Schedule our private party room for two hours or more, bring any food and beverage you desire and let your creative juices flow.

Guided Team Building event requires an additional fee of $3 for each painter.

Schools and non-profits

We want everyone to be able to enjoy painting pottery, so we offer special pricing for non-profit organizations and school field trips. Choose either a salad plate or a mug to paint. Groups of eight to 20 painters pay just $16 per painter. Groups with more than 20 people pay just $14.00 per painter

Scouts can qualify for this special pricing too, or they can benefit from our birthday party pricing if they would like to choose items other than a plate or mug to paint.

Adults: Can’t bring your group to Ceramic Cafe? We can bring the fun to you! We can bring all the paint and supplies to your location and then deliver the pottery (or glass creations) to you after they have been fired in the kiln. Pricing is determined on an individual event basis. Perfect for your Sunday school class or MOPS group.

Daycares and preschools: A plate with a child’s handprint or footprint is a special keepsake. We come to you and do all the work! Great any time of year, but the plates make an especially nice gift for the Holidays or Mother’s Day. Only $12 per child. A $25 transportation charge is added if you have less than 30 kids creating a plate.
