Dan & Cassidy Towriss IDEA Space KC is a hands-on learning center for STEAM education, welcoming K-12 students throughout Kansas City. Using science, technology, engineering, arts, and math as conduits to spark children’s imaginations, IDEA Space seeks to create a bright future for Kansas City’s next generation of innovators. In the Makerspace, Technology Lab, Incubation Hub, and Fabrication Workshop, students grow their comfort and confidence in STEAM fields — equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology and guided by master teachers, technicians, and artists.

The mission of IDEA Space KC is to build a mutually supportive space in south Kansas City where students and educators explore Innovation, Discovery, Entrepreneurship and Arts through consistent, ongoing learning experiences.
