DESCRIPTION:The Kansas City Power & Light District\, in collaboration with PNC Bank\, will debut a brand-new community event designed with families in mind. The inaugural PNC Family Fun Day will bring hands-on fun\, live entertainment and learning opportunities for families and kids of all ages. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, Saturday\, Oct. 18\, in the heart of the Power & Light District\, on Walnut Street between 13th and 14th\, and on 14th Street between Grand and Main. \nPNC Family Fun Day will transform the Power & Light District into a lively hub of family-friendly activities. The celebration will feature: \n● Interactive live entertainment from Drum Safari and a live Kid DJ \n● Hands-on activities with craft stations\, inflatables and carnival-style games \n● A special Touch-A-Truck experience \n● Engaging experiences from Science City’s mobile science lab \n● A petting zoo\, pony rides and a magic show \n● Meet and greets with Sesame Street’s Elmo\, happening hourly from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
