Don’t miss Mercury shining brightly at its greatest eastern elongation. This is your chance to see the planet at its highest point above the horizon in the evening sky. \nOperation Wildlife will introduce you to some extraordinary hawks—beyond the usual suspects! Meet species like the broad-winged hawk\, rough-legged hawk and Harris’ hawk while learning about these incredible birds of prey. \nThis year\, we’re adding even more ways to shine! Join us for a Glow Hike at 5 p.m. Dress for the weather\, lace up your hiking boots and meet us at the Hilltop Terrace at LongHouse. We’ll provide some glowing accessories\, or you can bring your own to light up the night. Then\, at 6:30 p.m.\, roll out your mat for Glow Yoga\, a unique\, illuminated session under the evening sky. Don’t miss these exciting new experiences to make your night at the Arboretum even more magical! Sign up in advance to hold your spot. \nIt’s all included with regular Arboretum admission.

DESCRIPTION:Ready for a night out away from the kids? Celebrate love in the animal kingdom with a night of hilarious skits performed by some of Kansas City’s finest theater actors! Kiss & Tail promises an unforgettable\, 18+ evening of comedy on Saturday\, February 15. In addition to learning about some of the world’s most unique mating rituals\, you’ll meet some of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors before the show! Two show times are available at 6 pm and 8:30 pm. \nWe are excited to also offer a VIP experience with dinner stations at Sobela Ocean Aquarium before the second show! The $150 VIP ticket is good for one person to enjoy dining at the Aquarium\, two drink tickets\, a custom Kiss & Tail sparkling white wine bottle provided by Mano’s Wine\, and one ticket to the second show. \nYou’ll have a fin-tastic evening\, all while helping to raise funds to support nearly 10\,000 animal residents at the Zoo!
