Sesame Street Live!

   Elmo, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, Oscar, Count, Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie... KC parents don't have to "get to Sesame Street"... Sesame Street has come to Kansas City! The whole Sesame Street gang is singing and dancing in Kansas City at the Sprint Center (showing through Jan. 31, 2010) and KC kids are cheering with glee at the site of their beloved pals!

     Tonight, we attended Sesame Street Live! 1-2-3 Imagine. There's nothing quite like watching a child's face light up with joy as they see a beloved character for the first time! For two hours, the Sesame Street characters sing and dance as they use their imaginations to travel the world. The audience imagines with them as they journey to Mexico, Africa, under the sea, camp, a parade, and more. Confetti, bright costumes, glowing special effects, and catchy tunes, all performed by the Sesame Street gang, keep children on the edge of their seats... literally! The highlight though is the interaction between the characters and the audience as the cast frequently comes down into the audience to shake hands, dance, wave, and greet young fans.

     Sesame Street Live is entertaining, educational and fun, holding children's attention and captivating their imaginations like only Sesame Street can. KCParent Kids give it two thumbs up!
