Magical Meals

Every now and then, we're in the mood for something fun. And, every "now and then" seems to hit more in January as we've wrapped up the holidays but have not quite entered Spring. Pizza, the old standby, goes up a notch when you're talking Minsky's (my fave gourmet pizza in KC) and live entertainment in the form of Eric the Magician.... if you're lucky he'll magically make a card, with your autograph on it, stick to the restaurant ceiling!

So, this past Saturday Night we headed over to Minsky's Pizza (12920 State Line Road Leawood, KS. 913.317.9965) where Eric the Magician performs from 6-8pm! My girls loved his illusions and tricks. Eric is an entertaining magician with a great sense of humor... our entire table was laughing and the girls are still trying to figure out how SO MANY bunnies magically appeared in the palm of our Emily's hand! Eric's repertoire is nice as we soon learned that tables enjoyed different tricks throughout the restaurant (really nice for regulars who return often). Card tricks, illusions, and things popping out of a magician's hat are part of the act - while classic, Eric is funny and fresh - entertaining even the adults in the restaurant! After performing a series of tricks, Eric offered to make a balloon animal for each of the girls - a great bonus to the evening! If you're looking for a great meal and some fun entertainment - consider one of Eric's shows (listed below).
