One of Kansas City’s original favorites is the Toy & Miniature Museum, where visitors of all ages are awed by the incredible collection of dolls, dollhouses and historic toys in more than 30 rooms to explore.

Doll lovers will love the UFDC Doll Museum with hundreds of dolls from around the world on display. Another favorite outing is the Doll Cradle in Shawnee (913.631.1900), a shop that captures every doll lover’s heart!

The C.W. Parker Carousel Museum tells the story of C.W. Parker and his Leavenworth-based factory with model railroads, merry-go-rounds and a ride for visitors on an authentic 1913 carousel.

Bonner Springs is the perfect destination to play all day. Like Alice slipping through the rabbit hole, at Moon Marble you'll discover gizmos and gadgets labeled, 'Try Me.' As a treat, fill a tube with your favorite marbles, then reach into the mouth of the "Marble Genie" to select the perfect shooter to complete the set.  Call ahead for a schedule to watch marble making.
