Ice Skating in Kansas City

Ice Skating...... winter's favorite family sport! This year, celebrate the season with your kids with a spin on the ice at one of Kansas City's local ice skating rinks, both indoor and outdoor.

Outdoor Ice Skating:

Admission: $7 for people 11 years of age and up, and $6 for kids 10 years of age and younger. Skate rental is $3, but you are welcome to bring your own skates!

Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday: 11AM to 10PM; Sunday: Noon to 8PM

Crown Center Ice Terrace

Location: Crown Center 2500 Grand Blvd., KCMO. www.crowncenter.com

Admission: $6, or free for adults over age 60 and children age 4 and under. Skate rental is $3, or skaters may bring their own. Two-for-One Tuesdays! After 5 p.m., pay one full price admission and receive a second for FREE. (Skate rental not included, but it's just $3 per person.)

Regular hours through January: Sun – Thurs: 10AM to 9PM; Friday & Saturday 10AM to 11PM. February and March hours: Mon-Thurs Noon to 9PM; Friday Noon to 11PM; Saturday 10AM to 11PM; Sunday 10AM to 9PM.
