As warmer temps come our way, thoughts turn to spending time in the great outdoors! For many, springtime and warmer temps mean gardening and tending to the yard. I have a very dear friend, Lisa, who loves to garden--every aspect of it. I, on the other hand, don’t have much talent or desire. But what I do like is the final product. So for the past several years, Lisa has tried her best to help me get some plants growing in my yard. While not a complete success, I am getting better and my yard prettier, thanks to her efforts. Maybe you love it or maybe you are more like me, but either way, gardening is a great pastime for families. Elizabeth Welter has some fantastic ideas on how you can “Grow a Gardener”.
In order to grow that garden, we need rain, and as the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.” I think both Tori and Ally would say their favorite way to spend a rainy day is playing out in the rain. As you know we are celebrating 25 years of KC Parent this year.
