Breastfeeding: Beyond the Basics

This 2-hour class involves a more in-depth review of pumping, breastmilk collection and storage. Tips for how to plan and prepare appropriate volumes of breastmilk in advance of returning to work outside the home and issues regarding weaning are addressed.
Partners are highly encouraged to attend and attending this class is recommended after baby's birth. Nursing babies are welcome. In consideration of other participants, we ask that someone be with you who can take the baby out of the room if he/she becomes disruptive. You're always welcome to bring snacks/drinks.
