Independence Center’s priority is the safety of our customers and tenants. We are open and taking extra precautions to ensure the health and well-being of everyone who visits our shopping center. We will  update our website and social media in the event of any changes to regular hours and events. please keep in touch with us via Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram. What is Independence Center doing?

We have increased our cleaning and disinfecting practices by using higher grade cleaning products and paying special attention to restrooms, play areas, hand rails, escalators, dining surfaces, and all other high touch point areas. In keeping with the recommended CDC guidelines, we encourage all guests to make use of regular hand washing, avoid touching faces if possible, covering mouths when coughing, and staying out of public places if ill.

Is Independence Center open?

We are open during our regular hours and are not currently planning any closures. We continue to follow CDC guidelines and public health advisories and are monitoring advisories from ICSC: the International Council of Shopping Centers. 

Is Independence Center canceling Easter events?

Yes. We have made the decision to close the Easter set this year and cancel all previously planned Easter events. 

Should guests wear medical masks if they visit Independence Center?

The CDC is currently only recommending wearing a mask if you are sick. However, we will permit guests to wear masks if they choose to wear them.

Visits with the bunny are free and photo packages are available for purchase. Pricing varies.

Photos begin after the Easter Bunny Arrival on March 14 at 10:30 AM.

Photos are available during our regular Center Hours from March 14 - April 11:

-Monday – Saturday, 10 AM – 9 PM

-Sunday, 12 PM – 6 PM
