to
Lenexa Farmers Market 17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy, Lenexa, Kansas
Bill Harrison
Two racecars built with fruits and vegetables sit side by side at the top of a ramp.
Are you ready to squash the competition? Think you can beet all the others? Lettuce see if you have what it takes. Create a racecar from fresh produce to compete in this elimination-style tournament at the Lenexa Farmers Market. The veggie cars will race down a 16-foot track, and the first to reach the finish line moves on to the next round.
Awards will be given for the top three fastest cars, as well as for best decorated and best representation of the farmers market. Both the racing and decorating competitions will be divided into two age categories: 12 and Under, and 13 and Over.
