Coppélia, set in an 18th-century Polish village, is a charming and comedic ballet enchanting audiences for over a century. Coppélia is a girl who sits on her balcony all day reading a book. Swanhilda and Franz, a betrothed couple in town, are soon to be married. However, Franz is drawn to Coppélia and begins to fall for her instead. In a jealous rage, Swanhilda breaks into Dr.Coppelius' Toy Shop, where Coppélia is always seen on the balcony. Chaos ensues when Swanhilda makes an important discovery. HAYB Company and Pre-Company dancers of all ages perform the three-act ballet's leading parts.
