The City's newest community park, Hawk Ridge Park is 79 acres of rolling hills with a fishing lake (daily creel limits for fishing are 4 channel catfish, 2 bass, 20 blue gill, 30 crappie).

Construction is underway at Hawk Ridge Park and residents will soon be able to enjoy new amenities (projected completion July 2019) including:

  • ADA fishing dock (complete) and jetty on Johnston Lake
  • Amphitheater for musical performances and other community arts programming
  • Paved walking trail around the lake 
  • Shelter house with restrooms
  • Additional restrooms on the south side of the park
  • Expanded parking

Additionally, the City has partnered with the St. Louis-based not-for-profit Unlimited Play to help design and build Cass County's first inclusive playground, Hawk's Nest, at Hawk Ridge Park.
