In addition to the Farmers Market, held seasonally May - October each Wednesday and Saturday; and the Winter Market, held seasonally December - April the first Saturday of each month, the facility is designed as a mixed use space.
The Independence Uptown Market will accommodate up to 300 participants when set up for dining and is the perfect venue for many types of private events. During cold weather months the space is heated for your comfort. The facility is also programmed for special events and a variety of programs opened to the community sponsored by the City of Independence.
