Outdoor Education and Recreation

Ironwoods Park is home to our Outdoor Recreation & Education Programs. Our amenities include the Prairie Oak Nature Center, Alpine Towers Challenge Course and 4 Cabins for overnight camping.

We offer a wide variety of programs such as; team building opportunities on our challenge course, scout merit badge programs taught by our outdoor education staff, classes for adults such as bird watching and rain garden construction.

Sports

Sports provide an excellent learning experience. An opportunity to be part of a team, to succeed, to lose, to learn sportsmanship, to practice, to fall, and to get up. These are the opportunities that await.
