Notre Dame de Sion School of Kansas City was founded by and is affiliated with the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Sion and one of 17 Sion schools internationally. Recognized by the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, Notre Dame de Sion School is an independent Catholic school managed and operated by a lay Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff who remain committed and faithful to the Sion Mission. Fully accredited by AdvancedED and ISACS, the school maintains two campuses: a Co-educational PK-8th grade in the historic Hyde Park District and a college preparatory high school for girls in south Kansas City. For over one-hundred years, generations of Kansas Citians have attested to the importance of the Notre Dame de Sion School Mission as it continues to enhance our community and the world by living out our motto of “Educating Minds. Expanding Hearts. Empowering Lives.”
