Crown Center Ice Terrace

Kansas City’s original outdoor skating rink opens for its 50th Season on November 4, 2022! Join us at the Crown Center Ice Terrace for a season of skating fun.

We will be using a reservation system for the 2022 – 2023 season.  Reservations are now open. 

Opening Day Free Skate, 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., November 4, 2022.  Learn more here.  Reservations are not required for Opening Day Free Skate.  Please come join the fun!

ADMISSION

Adults and Children 4 and older:  $8

Children under age 4:  FREE with paid admission

Skate Rental:  $5

Season Passes: $120 to skate all season long from November to March.  Season passes are available at the Ice Terrace Pro Shop.

Skate Sharpening:  $10 Sharpening is available for both figure skates and hockey skates. May require an overnight period.

Group rates are available with reservation, call 816-274-8411, $8 per skater and includes skate rental.  Bring a group of 20 or more skaters Monday – Thursday or Friday before 6:00 p.m., and get FREE skate rental.  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.  Group rates are not available on weekends or school holidays. Private Parties:  Just $250  an hour for up to 300 skaters.  Skate rental is not included in the price. Hold your party before or after regular hours.  One hour minimum.  Make your reservations early.  No alcoholic beverages allowed.  Cal 816-274-8411 for reservations.

Christmas Eve, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Learn to Skate

If you don’t know how to skate, now’s the time to learn. Group skating lessons are available for $120.00 for a six-week class.
