Reconciliation Services

A beautifully preserved historic building at 31st Street and Troost Avenue, 3101 Troost is home to Reconciliation Services, a Kansas City nonprofit working to address the root causes of poverty and build a more just and thriving community. The building also houses Thelma’s Kitchen, a radically affordable—and incredibly delicious—pay-it-forward cafe where everyone is welcome at the table. Located in the heart of the Troost corridor, 3101 Troost serves as a gathering place for neighbors from across Kansas City, hosting community events, programs, meetings and celebrations throughout the year.
