'Twas the Night Before Christmas

December 24, 2010 1:00 a.m.

And all through the house

The Sarver girls were stirring

but hopefully, not a mouse!

The festivities planned, presents bought,

Tori and Ally were peeking

Hoping to not get caught.

What a month it had been with so much to do,

The Nutcracker, Breakfast with Santa, baking cookies,

Just to name a few.

All the weeks of planning, parties and fun

Would all culminate in this day

When our Savior, Jesus, The One

Was born in manager, so meek and mild,

Happy Birthday to the Christ child!

A poet, I am not, but I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
