Visiting Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch

Since 1991, Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch has been a beloved fall tradition for KC kids. Every year, the patch just seems to get better and better. Families enjoy a variety of attractions including a hayride to the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, carousel, jack o' lantern jumping pillow, pedal karts, giant slides, fun photo ops, and lots of great places to play! 

Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch is open daily until Halloween. Over the years, we've visited during the week and on weekends. We always have a great time, but I'm partial to weekends when we enjoy live entertainment, watch Uncle Lester's Pig Races, the pumpkin cannon and the entire atmosphere of the patch is festive!

In addition to the fun attractions, Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch is also known for its delicious pumpkin donuts (my personal favorite!) and apple cider slushes. You can also enjoy other delicious concessions (you can buy lunch there, they do ask that you do not bring outside food or drink, but did permit one bottle of water per person in our family).

Our family loves this patch as a fantastic multi-generational outing. Grandparents, cousins, and friends enjoy spending time together at this outdoor attraction. With a wide variety of play areas, delicious food, and live entertainment on the weekends, this is a fall favorite.

We love that Carolyn's is a REAL pumpkin patch, with beautiful pumpkins picked right off the vine. 

What to know for 2020:

Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch Open every day from 10 am - 7 pm !  Daily Admission Tickets are on sale !!

• Go to carolynscountrycousins.com and pick your day and time, anyday Now until Oct. 31.  By choosing a day and time, this allows us to spread out crowds and reduce admission lines. This is a new system this year and we are hoping it will help to keep everyone safer.  Remember that there is reduced admission Mon-Thurs and usually smaller crowds.
• Every admission this year includes a train ride and a carousel ride .
• Live entertainment each Sat. and Sun. , pig races, and pumpkin cannon shows !!
• Guests are asked to wear masks when indoors and when outdoors and 6-foot distancing cannot be practiced.
• Employees wear masks and clean regularly

Our Pumpkin Patch Tips:

• Wear layers. It is often chilly early or late in the day, but can warm up as the sun shines around noon. 
• Wear comfy shoes for playing on a farm. Tennis shoes, rubber boots, or farm boots work.
• Remember sunglasses and sunscreen.
• Take photos!
• Come rested. Plan your visit around nap times.
• We usually spend an entire day playing at Carolyn's.

Farm Games Phone App: When you arrive, you'll find a poster with instructions to download the Farm Games App. Participate in a scavenger hunt around the patch and scan the numbers as you locate them. When you scan the number, an animated farm animal will pop up on your phone so you can take a photo!
